Tuesday, November 22nd marked the 48th anniversary of the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. The annual remembrance ceremony took place at the Eternal Flame Memorial in Springfield's Forest Park and was attended by Register Ashe and many other regional politicians and public figures. The service was filled with words of praise for the man whose death grieved a nation and has continued to serve as a hero for many Americans.A man may die, nations may rise and fall, but an idea lives on. ~ John Fitzgerald Kennedy
