Donald E. Ashe is happy to announce that the Hampden County
Bar Association Real Estate Attorneys division invited the Registry to their
monthly meeting to discuss current Land Court and Registry procedures along
with future changes that may be occurring.
The meeting was held February 16, 2016 at the Red Rose Restaurant. President Thomas Wilson introduced Kelly
Cavanaugh-Kelly, Assistant Register of Deeds, and Bridget O’Connor, Land Court
Technical Consultant. Bridget explained
Land Court documents and procedures and answered various questions. Kelly explained future changes that may be
occurring which included electronically recording Land Court documents and the
possibility of a standard statewide computer system.
